The national park isn’t the only catch in the entire situation; there are mesmerizing as well as regal hotels and resorts as well. There are the Sherbagh, Vanya Vilas, Tiger Den resorts that prove to be the best stay at the place for tourists. There are even specific packages like bird watching tours, Ranthambore weekend package, tiger trails, etc. that provide you with a splendid sightseeing option. The entire park is dotted with geographical structures that will remind you about the bygone areas. There are water bodies all across the park that are a relief while roaming all around.

Tigers are the prime attraction. Tigers at Ranthambore National park have been known to even hunt in full view of human visitors. These tigers are famous for being seen in the daytime too, due to their lack of fear of human presence in vehicles. This lack of fear of humans is excellent for tourists, as they get to see the tigers often. This is the reason why tiger reserve India Ranthambore is extremely popular among the common people as well as the animal lovers. The best time to visit Ranthambore is during the winters as during the summers; the place turns extremely hot.

This place is a boon for a wildlife enthusiast and a photographer’s dream. The park remains open every year from October to May, so you know when to pack your bags and leave for the trip. Famous for the frequent and exciting tiger sightings, the park is also dramatically mentioned in several books and folklore. Apart from the Ranthambore national park safari, there are some other excellent places as well. These are:

  • Kaziranga National Park in Assam
  • Corbett National Park in Uttarakhand
  • Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary in Kerala
  • Bandipur National Park in Karnataka
  • Keoladeo Ghana National Park in Rajasthan
  • Bandhavgarh National Park in Madhya Pradesh
  • Sunderban Tiger Reserve in West Bengal

We were super lucky and saw tigers on every game drive!

This was my first of 2 tiger parks while in India. Having done several safaris in Africa this was quite a change for us. But we loved it. It helped that we were insanely lucky and saw a tiger on all 4 of our game drives.

Amazing Experience

We had 2 trips to the Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve - one in the morning which was an early start and quite chilly but blankets were supplied! Unfortunately, on this occasion we did not have the pleasure of viewing any tigers but plenty of other wildlife! I would definitely recommend this trip as it was just wonderful.
