Day 1: Arrival in New Delhi

Meet and greet upon arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport by our representatives. Thereafter receive a short briefing about your tour which gives you a clear idea of the places you are going to visit as well as the accommodation and transportation arrangements. After the briefing, you will be driven to your city hotel for check-in.

Day 2: New Delhi( Full day Sightseeing)

Today after breakfast, head on for full-day guided sightseeing of Old and New Delhi. First, we will be visiting Old Delhi, built by the fifth Mughal Emperor Shanjehan known as Shahjahanabad during Mughal rule. Here you will first tour the largest Mosque of Asia Jama Masjid and thereupon enjoying the rickshaw ride through the narrow bylanes of Shahjahanabad, will give you a glimpse of the bygone era, followed by the visit to and Red fort build by the same emperor. Later tour to the Raj Ghat, the cremation ground of Mahatma Gandhi. Then have lunch at the city restaurant. After Lunch, you visit Humayun Tomb- also called precursor of Taj Mahal, followed by the drive through the Luyten Delhi, where you will have the glimpse of British era, with shortstop at India Gate, a memorial built in the memory of Soldiers who died in the First world war. Lastly tour Qutab Minar, the tallest and famous towers in the world, also famous for its architecture, history, design.

Day 3: Mahabalipuram - Pondicherry

After having breakfast and check out from the hotel, you will be driven to Jaipur (265 Km / 5Hrs), upon arrival, check in to your hotel at Jaipur.

Jaipur the pink city and its pink colour associated with hospitality in Rajasthan, spreading out the pink carpet for its visitors. Planned by the young architect, Vidyadhar Bhattacharya, Jaipur was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in 1727 AD. Laid in a grid system, with straight avenues, roads, streets, lanes criss-cross the city with rows of shops on either side of main bazaars arranged in nine rectangular city sectors (Chowkris), based on the principles of “Shilpa Shastra”, an epochal treatise on Hindu architecture.

Rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 4: Jaipur Full day Sightseeing

Today after an early breakfast, head on an excursion to Amber, the former capital has a beautiful complex of palaces, halls, gardens and temples built by Raja Man Singh, Mirza Raja Jai Singh and Sawai Jai Singh over a period of about two centuries. It emerges from the placid waters of Mootha Lake and is approachable only through the steep path. Enjoy short Elephant ride to reach the fort located on the hill.

After the tour, continue with Jaipur city visit the City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal. The city palace houses museum with the superb collection of Rajasthani costumes and armoury of Mughals and Rajputs including swords of different shapes and sizes with chased handles, some of them inlaid with enamel and embellished with Jewels and encased in magnificent Scabbards. The art gallery has the excellent collection of miniature paintings, carpets and rare artefacts.

Day 5: Tour To Jaipur - Fatehpursikri - Agra

Today, after breakfast, you will be driven to Agra tour (240Km/6hrs), en route visit Fatehpur Sikri the first planned city of the Mughals, built by Akbar, the grandson of Babar. The sloping levels of the city were connected into terraces which were utilized for various complexes such as Jama Masjid, Buland-Darwazah and tomb of Sheikh Salim Chishti; Khass Mahal, Shahi-Bazar, Mina-Bazar, the Panch-Mahal, Khwabgah, Diwan-i-Khass, Anup-Talao, Chaupar and Diwan-i-Am. The efficient system of drainage and water-supply adopted here suggest an extremely intelligent town-planning

Upon arrival in Agra, check in to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure, free to explore or do shopping.

Day 6: Agra - Jhansi(Overbight Train) Tour

Today after the break, head on for full day sightseeing of Agra tour, including the visit to Agra Fort, Taj Mahal, Itmad-Ud-Daulah and Sikandra

Agra fort built by Akbar, the great Mughal Emperor in 1565 A.D. later additions Jahangir his son and Shah Jehan his grandson Shah Jehan. The fort is crescent-shaped, flattened on the east with a long, nearly straight wall facing the river. It has a total perimeter of 2.4 km and is ringed by double castellated ramparts of red sandstone punctuated at regular intervals by bastions. A 9mt. wide and 10mt. the deep moat surrounds the outer wall. There is a number of the exquisite building like Moti Masjid a white marvel mosque akin to a perfect pearl, Diwan-e-Am, Diwan-e-Khaas, Jahangir’s Palace, Khaas Mahal, Shish Mahal and Musamman or Samman Burj where Shahjehan was held captive in 1666 A.D.

Taj Mahal, completed in 1653 A.D. built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan as the final resting place for his Queen, Mumtaz. It is India’s most fascinating and beautiful monument, perfectly symmetrical monuments took 22 years (1630-1652) and 20,000 workers, Masons and Jewelers to build. Set amidst landscaped gardens Taj Mahal on the bank of the Yamuna River. It can be observed like a Mirage from the Agra Fort from where Emperor Shah Jehan stared at it, for the last eight years his life as a prisoner of his son Aurangzeb.

Sikandra- the mausoleum of emperor Akbar represent his philosophy and secular outlook, combining the best of Hindu and Muslim architectures in a superlative region. Completed in 1613 A.D. by his son Jahangir, it is one of the well-preserved monuments. Itmad-Ud-Daulah is the tomb of MirzaGhyas Beg, a Persian who had obtained service in Akbar Court. The Marvel tomb was built by Emperor Jehangir’s Queen, Noorjahan, for her father MirzaGhyas Beg during 1622-1628 A.D

After full day sightseeing of Agra tour, you will be transferred to Agra Cant Railway station to catch the overnight train for Jhansi, departing Agra at 2200hrs.

Day 7: Jhansi - Orchha Tour

On arrival at Jhansi railway station, drive to Orchha tour. It is just 20kms/30mins. from Jhansi. Here interesting notable thing is that Jhansi lies in Uttar Pradesh whereas Orchha lies in Madhya Pradesh state. On reaching Orchha, relax for some time in your hotel and later proceed for Orchha sightseeing in which we will visit Jahangir Fort, Rai Praveen Ka Mahal, riverside cenotaphs, Ram Raja Temple etc. Here fort located on an island of Betwa river. All these monuments are of Bundeladynesty.

Khajuraho Sightseeing

Day 8: Orchha - Khajuraho Tour

After breakfast, drive to Khajuraho tour at a distance of 190kms/04:30hrs. By afternoon you will reach Khajuraho and check-in to Khajuraho hotel. After lunch and some rest start Khajuraho sightseeing tour for one thousand years ago, under the generous and artistic patronage of the Chandela Rajput kings. 85 temples magnificent in form and richly carved were built near the village of Khajuraho. In short span of 100 years, from 950 AD – 1050 AD, all the temples were completed, Today, only 22 have survived the destruction by Muslim invaders; these remain as a collective paean to life, to joy and to creativity; to the ultimate fusion of man with his creator.

Day 9: Khajuraho - Bandhavgarh National Park Tour

Today morning after an early breakfast, you will be driven to to Bandhavgarh National Park Tour. (240Km/5hrs)

Bandhavgarh National Park is a park with a rich historical past. Prior to becoming a national park, the forests around Bandhavgarh had long been maintained as a Shikargah, or game preserve, of the Maharajas and their guests. It has the highest density of Bengal tigers known in the world, and is home to some famous named individual tigers. Charger, an animal so named because of his habit of charging at elephants and tourists (whom he nonetheless did not harm), was the first healthy male known to be living in Bandhavgarh since the 1990s. The female tigress called Sita, who once appeared on the cover of National Geographic, is considered the most photographed tiger in the world. The 105 km² of park area open to tourists was reported to have 22 tigers, a density of one tiger for every 4.77 km². (Population estimation exercise 2001). The population of tigers in the park in 2012 is about 44-49. There is a saying about the Park that goes: “In any other Park, You are lucky if you see a tiger. In Bandhavgarh tour, you are unlucky if you don’t see (at least) one.”

Day 11: Bandhavgarh - Kanha National Park Tour

Last day at Bandhavgarh tour, following your morning game drive and breakfast check-out from the hotel with wonderful memories of the park & wildlife tour. You will be driven for Kanha National park (205 km/ 4 hours approx.) upon arrival at Kanha, check in to your hotel. After having lunch relax at the resort and enjoy hotel amenities. No afternoon safari, because National parks of central India remains closed every Wednesday for afternoons safaris tour.

Kanha National Park is one of the best national parks of India and stretched across Banjar and Halon valleys within the Mandla and Balaghat districts of the state of Madhya Pradesh. This park is the only territory of the uncommon Barasingha (CervusDuvaceliBranderi). In the year 1930s, the Kanha region was separated into two sanctuaries: Hallon and Banjar of 250 sq km and 300 sq km each. Although one of these was afterwards disbanded, the region remained a protected one till 1947. Reduction of the tiger populace in the years which followed led to the area had been made an absolute sanctuary in the year 1952. By a special statute in the year 1955, Kanha National Park came into existence.

Since then, a sequence of stringent preservation programmes for the fortification of the park’s flora and fauna has provided, Kanha deserved standing for being one of the optimum and best administered National Parks within Asia, an appealing attraction for all natural wildlife lovers and a true shelter for its animal and avian populace. A finely tuned attraction inside the Park is BamniDadar, popularly recognized as Sunset Point which offers the most overwhelming backdrop of the evening against grazing Sambhars and Gaurs that magnifies the natural splendour of the whole area. The lowland jungle is a blend of sal (Shorearobusta) along with other diverse forest trees, interspersed with meadows. The highland wooded areas are tropical, moist, dry and deciduous sort of completely diverse natural habitats with bamboo on slopes (Dendrocalamusstrictus). An extremely good looking Indian ghost tree (Kullu) might also be seen in the opaque forest.

Day 12: Best Kanha National Park Tour

Every morning day starts with early morning wakeup call and tea before you head on early morning Game drive. Having a couple days ensures tiger sightings and if you are lucky may catch a glimpse of them playing, hunting, sleeping and drinking. After having lunch at 1430hrs (approx.) set out for the game drive. It is treated for wildlife and nature lovers, watching tigers roaming around, verdant greenery, a gamut of other species of chirpy birds and animals is priceless and worth enough to be explored at least once in a life.

Day 13: Kanha - Pench

Last day at Kanha tour, following your morning game drive and breakfast check-out from the hotel with wonderful memories of the park & wildlife tour. You will be driven for Pench National park tour (185 km/ 4 hours approx.) upon arrival at Pench, check in to your hotel. After having lunch relax at the resort and enjoy hotel amenities. No afternoon safari because of the long drive from Kanha to Pench national park. Evening at leisure Pench National park tour, nestling in the lower southern reaches of the Satpura hills is named after Pench river, meandering through the park from north to south. It is located on the southern boundary of Madhya Pradesh, bordering Maharashtra, in the districts of Seoni and Chhindwara. Pench National Park, comprising of 758 SQ Kms, out of which a core area of 299 sq km of Indira Priyadarshini Pench National Park and the Mowgli Pench Sanctuary and remaining 464 sq km of Pench national park is the buffer area. The area of the present tiger reserve has a glorious history. A description of its natural wealth and richness occurs in Ain-i-Akbari. Pench Tiger Reserve and its neighbourhood is the original setting of Rudyard Kipling’s most famous work, The Jungle Book. Pench National park tour: Sambar, Cheetal, Nilgai have usually seen grazing on the free land on roadsides and riverbanks & reservoir. Jackals are also seen in the park, which is in search of their food. A group of 15 wild dogs can be seen along Chhedia, Pyorthadi, Jamtara and Bodanala areas of the Reserve. Herds of gaur can be marked near streams and bamboo patches regularly in summer months. Sloth beer occupies hilly, stony outcrops and favours mahulbel polluted forest.
